Aquatech has an immediate need for a full-time Project Manager to work at our Baton Rouge, LA. The hours are Monday - Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. The Project Manager will report to the Director of Projects and will perform the duties described in the job description below and will be considered an Exempt employee. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, have excellent time management skills, good communicator, have excellent problem-solving skills, be team oriented, be customer service driven, and the ability to delegate. This candidate will also have experience handling projects of $300M or more. Aquatech is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead field construction execution on the HPLS Hyundai Steel DBOOT water treatment facility which will be built in Donaldsonville, LA. This is a large-scale Design-Build-Own-Operate-Maintain (DBOOM) water treatment project supporting Hyundai Steel's industrial operations. The Construction Project Manager will oversee day-to-day construction activities, subcontractor coordination, manage schedule and budget performance, and ensure safety/quality compliance from mobilization through mechanical completion and commissioning support of the project. The Construction Project Manager may also be required to lead all activities that will be handled under a Joint Venture / SPV type arrangement with the primary contractor on the Project so experience with this type of arrangement is beneficial.
• Manage all on-site construction activities for the water treatment facility, ensuring work is executed safely, on schedule, and within budget Serve as the primary field point of contact between Aquatech, the EPC team, civil subcontractor(s), and the project owner's representatives Coordinate and supervise multiple subcontractors and trades (civil, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation) across concurrent work fronts Develop, monitor, and update the construction schedule; identify and mitigate schedule risks and delays Manage project cost control, including subcontractor pay applications, change orders, and forecasting against budget Oversee procurement and delivery coordination for construction materials and equipment to support field progress Lead weekly progress meetings with subcontractors, the client, and internal project stakeholders progress meetings with subcontractors, the client, and internal project stakeholders Ensure compliance with project specifications, contract documents, and applicable codes/standards Champion site safety culture; enforce site-specific safety plans and support EHS personnel in incident prevention and response Manage quality control/quality assurance processes, including inspections, punch lists, and non-conformance resolution Support commissioning and startup activities in coordination with engineering and operations teams Track and manage RFIs, submittals, and field change requests Prepare and present regular progress reports to Aquatech leadership and the client Support close-out documentation, as-builts, and final turnover to the owner

Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent field experience) 8+ years of construction project management experience, with direct experience on industrial, water/wastewater treatment, or heavy civil projects Experience with DBOOT, EPC, or design-build project delivery models strongly preferred Prior experience on large industrial or petrochemical-adjacent construction sites preferred, particularly in Louisiana / Texas. Strong working knowledge of construction scheduling tools (Primavera P6 or MS Project) Solid understanding of construction cost control, change management, and subcontract administration Working knowledge of OSHA 30-Hour certification (required or must obtain) Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple subcontractors and stakeholders simultaneously Experience working with international clients, particularly Asia, would be a strong benefit Ability to read and interpret civil, mechanical, and process/P&ID drawings Proficiency with construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam) and MS Office Suite Share job details to
