Basic Job Requirements:
Minimum of two (2) years' experience in metal building erection, steel erection, and/or metal roofing. (Experience in industrial/plant work is preferred). Must pass a drug screen and background check. OSHA Basic Plus training. (Can be obtained upon hire) Must be familiar with industrial safety rules and procedures and perform tasks safely. Experience in the safe operation of aerial equipment. Must be familiar with metal building tools, equipment, and installation methods. Must have personal hand tools as required. (Spud wrench, screw gun/impact driver, tape, snips, tool/bolt bag, etc.) Must have reliable transportation and be dependable. Rigging certifications are a PLUS.
Job Responsibilities:
Erect steel columns, girts, purlins, bracing, and support beams. Properly erect / install metal building primary and secondary steel members. Install metal wall panels, roof panels, and metal building insulation. Operate screw gun and correctly install screws. Install standing seam metal roof systems. Safely operate metal building erection equipment (aerial lifts, forklifts, scissor lifts, etc.). Efficiently operate metal building erection tools (screw guns, impact drivers, spud wrenches, shears, roof seamers, etc.). This is a full-time, permanent position with hourly pay Plus Overtime.
