full-time Brunel is recruiting Construction Assistants to work for initially 1 year contract in Cameron, La. We are seeking a Site Construction Assistant to support a long-term construction project in Cameron Parish, Louisiana. This position will provide administrative and coordination support for daily construction activities while serving as a liaison among construction management, contractors, subcontractors, vendors, project teams, and local stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

Provide administrative and coordination support for daily construction operations. Serve as a liaison among construction management, contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and local stakeholders. Set up, maintain, and improve site administrative processes and reporting tools. Coordinate with site-based teams and remote project offices when needed. Maintain project records, reports, correspondence, and administrative files. Support document control and ensure information is organized and current. Coordinate meetings, prepare meeting materials, record minutes, and track action items. Assist with contractor and employee onboarding activities. Support workforce logistics, including timekeeping, timesheets, and site access coordination. Assist with construction reports, project updates, and general site communications. Support vendors and contractors with administrative requirements. Help maintain compliance with project procedures and site requirements.

Required Qualifications:

Previous administrative, project coordination, or construction support experience. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Experience maintaining reports, documents, and project records. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams. Ability to communicate effectively with employees, contractors, vendors, and management. Reliable transportation and the ability to commute to the project site daily.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience supporting construction, LNG, EPC, energy, petrochemical, refinery, or other industrial projects. Previous experience working at an active construction site. Knowledge of document control, construction reporting, workforce logistics, or contractor onboarding. Experience working with local vendors, service providers, or community stakeholders.
