Competitive / Based on Experience We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent for a contract opportunity supporting commercial construction projects in the Houma, Louisiana area. This role will serve as the day-to-day leader on active job sites while also assisting with project management coordination, scheduling, subcontractor oversight, and communication between field and office teams. The ideal candidate is hands-on, organized, and experienced managing fast-paced commercial projects from the field. Responsibilities Oversee daily job site operations and field activities Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, deliveries, and schedules Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to plans/specifications Maintain project timelines and assist with schedule management Communicate regularly with project managers, ownership, subcontractors, and inspectors Monitor quality control and job site safety compliance Assist with project documentation, reporting, and field problem-solving Participate in project meetings and progress updates Preferred Experience Commercial construction experience required Convenience store / fuel station construction experience strongly preferred Experience supporting both field supervision and project management functions Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents Strong communication and organizational skills Comfortable working in fast-paced environments and managing multiple moving parts Additional Information Contract role expected to run from June through December 2026 Local candidates preferred; candidates near Houma, LA strongly encouraged to apply If interested, please send your resume to Carey@theRevelSearch.com .
