In this role, you will support project managers in coordinating complex infrastructure projects, ensuring seamless communication, efficient scheduling, and adherence to construction regulations. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree from an accredited University in Construction Management, Engineering, or related curriculum or equivalent work experience 2+ years of professional experience in project management, field supervision, or estimating/pre-construction roles for a commercial general contractor or subcontractor Working knowledge of project planning, scheduling, and estimating for construction trades (all disciplines) Strong computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, project management, estimating, and scheduling software programs Solid skills in the areas of math, budgeting, financial analysis, as well as excellent teamwork, communication (written and oral), and interpersonal skills The physical demands of this position must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for an extended period of time and frequently stand and walk The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel: and reach with hands and arms; talk and hear Responsibilities TheProject Coordinator assists the Project Manager or Senior Project Manager in leading project management staff and coordinating activities across multiple teams for assigned construction project(s). This position supports oversight of project administrative functions, including contract administration, procurement, document management, and financial and risk management, using tools such as Primavera P6, HeavyBid, and Microsoft Office to maintain schedules, track budgets, and manage construction plans, blueprints, and contracts. Assist in developing and maintaining detailed project schedules, tracking progress, and updating timelines regularly to support field operations from start-up through completion/closeout. Help monitor project budgets and costs, and prepare financial and progress reports for project leadership and other stakeholders. Facilitate communication among stakeholders by preparing meeting agendas, minutes, and progress reports, and support quality control and compliance with construction regulations and safety standards on all active sites. Assist in managing project documentation, including construction plans, regulatory compliance records, and change orders, to ensure accuracy and accessibility. The employee will occasionally lift and/or move office equipment up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include viewing computer monitors. Some duties are performed under periodically disagreeable jobsite condition visits.
