Superintendent

Job Description

The Personnel Consulting Group is seeking an experienced, driven Superintendent to lead an exciting, high-profile remodeling project in the Greater New Orleans market. In this role, you will manage day-to-day field operations, coordinate trade partners, enforce strict quality control, and maintain safety standards to bring a major renovation project from execution to final delivery.
Key Responsibilities Field Leadership:
Direct daily on-site operations, trade subcontractors, and field personnel from initial teardown through final punch list completion.
Schedule & Flow:
Develop and maintain 2-week look-ahead schedules, managing site logistics to keep work moving efficiently without compromising quality.
Quality Assurance:
Inspect work in progress continuously to ensure full adherence to architectural plans, specifications, and Louisiana building codes.
Safety & Compliance:
Enforce strict OSHA guidelines and site safety protocols; conduct daily safety briefings and maintain accurate job-site logs.
Communication:
Partner closely with Project Managers, architects, inspectors, and client representatives to proactively address site challenges and provide clear updates.
Qualifications & Experience Experience:
5+ years of proven success as a Construction Superintendent, with a focus on commercial renovation, structural remodeling, or tenant build-outs.
Technical Expertise:
Strong proficiency reading blueprints, managing MEP systems integration, and executing complex structural modifications.
