Electrical Superintendent Location:
Projects across Louisiana, Texas, and Wyoming Position Summary The Electrical Superintendent is responsible for leading all field electrical construction activities from mobilization through completion. This role ensures work is executed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with project scope, schedule, and quality standards. This position requires a hands-on field leader who can drive productivity, maintain strong client relationships, and keep projects moving by anticipating and resolving issues before they impact execution. Key Responsibilities Field Leadership & Execution Lead all electrical field operations across assigned projects Supervise crews, subcontractors, and foremen to ensure efficient execution Coordinate electrical work with other trades, engineering, and procurement teams Ensure all work is completed in accordance with drawings, specifications, and client expectations Support project lifecycle activities including startup, commissioning, and turnover Safety & Performance Deliver projects with a strong focus on safety, targeting zero serious incidents Lead daily safety meetings and enforce company and client safety standards Meet or exceed labor productivity goals across all assigned projects Promote accountability and a strong safety culture across all crews Planning & Problem Solving Anticipate and resolve field issues before they impact schedule or productivity Coordinate daily and weekly work plans with Project Managers and field leadership Identify risks, constraints, and conflicts and drive timely resolution Maintain schedule awareness and adjust execution as needed to stay on track Leadership & Development Develop and mentor foremen, building the next level of field leadership Set clear expectations and hold crews accountable for performance and results Foster a team environment focused on execution, safety, and continuous improvement Communication & Client Relations Maintain strong working relationships with clients, inspectors, and stakeholders Communicate proactively regarding project status, risks, and progress Serve as the primary field contact for electrical scope execution Documentation & Coordination Maintain accurate field records supporting quality, schedule, and change management Ensure documentation is complete and supports project reporting and claims Coordinate seamlessly with internal teams to avoid delays and rework Qualifications Required Minimum 5+ years of electrical construction experience in industrial, pipeline, or energy projects Previous Superintendent or strong foreman-level leadership experience Proven ability to lead crews and manage field execution across multiple projects Strong understanding of electrical systems, installation practices, and jobsite coordination Valid driver's license and ability to travel Preferred Experience in compressor stations, pipeline facilities, or midstream construction Experience coordinating multi-discipline construction environments Strong knowledge of construction safety practices and regulatory requirements Core Competencies Strong field leadership and decision-making Ability to manage multiple priorities and crews simultaneously Proactive problem-solving and critical thinking Strong communication and interpersonal skills High level of accountability and ownership Work Environment Field-based role with travel to active job sites Fast-paced, deadline-driven construction environment Extended hours and weekend work may be required based on project needs
