This pivotal role involves managing on-site operations, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards, and delivering projects on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will possess extensive construction site experience, exceptional management skills, and a comprehensive understanding of construction management software and regulations. Responsibilities Lead the planning, coordination, and supervision of all construction activities on-site, ensuring alignment with project specifications, schedules, and safety standards. Manage and direct construction crews, subcontractors, and vendors to optimize productivity and maintain high-quality workmanship. Review and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and construction documents to facilitate accurate execution of work. Develop detailed project schedules utilizing Primavera P6 or similar construction management software; monitor progress regularly and adjust plans as necessary. Oversee procurement processes including construction estimating, budgeting, and contract administration to ensure cost control. Enforce federal safety regulations such as OSHA standards; conduct safety meetings, inspections, and incident investigations to uphold a safe work environment. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and clients to resolve issues promptly while maintaining project timelines. Conduct quality control inspections; ensure compliance with all relevant construction regulations and standards. Supervise the review of construction drawings; interpret technical details accurately for field implementation. Manage project documentation including daily reports, change orders, RFIs (Request for Information), and closeout procedures. Utilize construction management software such as ProCore or Bluebeam for documentation, communication, and project tracking. Skills Extensive experience in heavy civil or commercial construction projects with proven supervisory roles. Proficiency in Primavera P6, Primavera P3, HeavyBid, OSHAsafety regulations, Bluebeam Revu, and other construction management tools. Strong knowledge of contracts management, project scheduling, budgeting, and cost control techniques. Skilled in interpreting technical drawings and blueprints; adept at managing construction schedules. Excellent leadership abilities with experience managing teams in a fast-paced environment. Deep understanding of federal safety regulations including OSHA requirements for construction sites. Effective managerial communication skills; capable of coordinating multidisciplinary teams efficiently. Demonstrated ability to supervise multiple crews while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. Knowledge of construction regulations applicable across various sectors; familiarity with pipeline projects is a plus.
