Job Description
Construction Owner's Representative-Contract Position With an exclusive contract with the Department of Veterans Affairs, we are seeking an experienced construction owner's representative who will be located at the Amarillo VA hospital assisting the VA engineer in managing hospital construction projects. This position is an hourly contract position with a maximum of 40 hours a week. The contract is for one year with possible one-year extensions. The candidate must be a United States Citizen to work on this federal property.
Position Requirements:
To succeed in this impactful role, you should possess the following qualifications: Experience inConstruction Projects:
Prior supervision experience at least 10 yrs with construction degree in construction management, engineering, or architecture. Degree can be replaced with 15 years of experience. 3 Years of Valid Residency in the U. S. Ability to Pass a Federal Background Check. Valid Driver's License Ability to Read Plans and Specifications. Ability to Read Construction Schedules.Excellent Organizational and Communication Skills:
Your ability to coordinate and communicate effectively is essential.Maintain Daily Construction Reports Additional Qualifications:

Prepare detailed construction estimates and manage project budgets effectively. Ensure effective project coordination among various stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
