Job Description
Position Summary:
The Site Maintenance role oversees the daily operations, maintenance, safety, security and overall functionality of the assigned property in Andover, MA. This position ensures that all facilities, grounds, structures, and program areas are well-maintained, safe, and welcoming for customers, volunteers, and staff. At times, this role may be needed at other locations to assist with high priority seasonal needs. This position coordinates site usage, manages repair and maintenance activities, supports program delivery, and serves as the primary on-stie customer service representative. Essential Functions of theRole:
Facility Maintenance, Safety and Administrative Responsibilities Maintain the site in a clean, orderly, and safe condition by conducting ongoing assessments of systems, equipment, buildings, roads, waterfront or pools, and grounds. Perform routine and emergency repairs and maintenance and/or coordinate and supervise qualified contractors to complete repair and maintenance tasks. Maintain accurate inventories, maintenance logs, and records of completed work. Maintain accurate financial records and prepare all financial forms and various reports in a timely manner. Ensure property operations and on-site programming complies with compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations, as well as OSHA, council and general safety guidelines and organizational policies related to property operations and on-site programming. Site Operations and Usage Management Oversee and manage troop and group utilization of the property, including check in/check-out procedures and the issuance and return of equipment for program activities. Serve as the primary point of contact for all groups, including staff, using the site, ensuring smooth communication and a positive customer experience. Support program activities and on-site events when time permits, ensuring safe and effective use of facilities. Provide support services to the summer camp staff as requested. Interpret for volunteers and staff GSUSA and council standards, policies, and procedures related to property usage. Project Management Supervise and support volunteers participating in projects to ensure safety and adherence to organizational guidelines. Plan, prioritize, and execute site-related projects and initiatives. Assist with work projects at other council sites as directed. Additional Responsibilities Develop and maintain positive public relationships with all community contacts and neighbors surrounding the property. Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall operations and mission of the Facilities Department and GSEMA.Similar remote jobs
