Familiarity with Jira and standard construction management systems What you would do Typical responsibilities could include: Coordinating daily site activities, including trade schedules, material deliveries and workforce logistics Maintaining construction schedules and sequencing across multiple trades and work phases Managing communication between field teams, subcontractors, engineers and office-based project leadership Tracking project budgets, change orders and cost reporting against approved baselines Supporting safety compliance and site inspections, including documentation and corrective actions Updating project documentation, schedules and status reports using Jira and construction management systems Resolving site coordination conflicts and escalating issues to the project manager when needed Supporting the project team through multiple phases, from mobilization through substantial completion What you could bring Most roles of this type require the following: 2-5 years of construction coordination, site administration or construction management experience Demonstrated knowledge of construction sequencing, scheduling and trade coordination Understanding of safety compliance, OSHA regulations and standard site safety practices Proficiency with construction management software and familiarity with Jira Strong organizational and communication skills, capable of managing multiple stakeholders Ability to work both in the field and office, with comfort interpreting construction documents and plans Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field, or equivalent practical experience Authorization to work in the United States What roles of this type could offer Most roles of this type offer the following, dependent on the industry and seniority of the role: Hands-on involvement in complex building projects from start to finish Exposure to multiple construction phases, trades and project delivery methods Opportunity to develop scheduling, budget and stakeholder management skills Potential progression toward senior coordination or assistant project manager roles Permanent, full-time employment with package elements such as health insurance, paid time off, 401(k) matching and professional development support, where supplied in the role details About Specialist Staffing Group We are a specialist recruitment firm dedicated to connecting talented professionals with rewarding construction and site management opportunities.
