• Site Management What you would do Typical responsibilities could include: Overseeing day-to-day site operations, sequencing and progress tracking against approved schedules Managing budget performance, cost forecasting and change order review Coordinating safety compliance, regulatory inspections and adherence to project standards Leading and mentoring on-site teams, including contractors, subcontractors and support personnel Maintaining stakeholder communication with ownership, design teams and regulatory bodies Preparing progress reports, schedule updates and cost analysis for project leadership Identifying and resolving schedule conflicts, resource constraints and site safety issues Ensuring quality standards and specification compliance throughout construction phases What you could bring Most roles of this type require the following: Must-have 5-10 years of project ownership or construction project management experience Proven track record managing on-site construction delivery, scheduling and budget control Strong knowledge of construction safety standards, building codes and regulatory compliance Experience coordinating multiple trades, contractors and subcontractors Proficiency with project scheduling tools (Primavera, Microsoft Project) and cost management software Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business or related field Authorization to work in the United States Nice-to-have PMP or similar project management certification Experience with large-scale commercial or infrastructure projects Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) or advanced scheduling platforms Experience mentoring junior project staff What roles of this type could offer Most roles of this type offer the following, dependent on the industry and seniority of the role: Direct involvement in delivering significant construction projects in a major market Opportunity to influence project outcomes through proactive leadership and problem-solving Exposure to diverse project types and stakeholder environments Potential for ongoing contract renewal or transition to permanent roles based on performance Collaborative working environment with cross-functional teams and established support structures Professional development and visibility within the construction and project delivery community About Specialist Staffing Group We are a specialized recruitment partner focused on connecting experienced construction and project management professionals with leading organizations.
