100% company paid Health, Dental, Vision! , Life Insurance, 401(k) with company match, FSA and More Job Summary Adecco Permanent Recruitment is partnering with a well-established construction firm in the Massachusetts commercial building sector to help them hire a Construction Superintendent. This role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day field operations on commercial construction projects from early site work through project completion. The Superintendent will coordinate subcontractors, maintain safety standards, manage schedules, and ensure the project is delivered on time, on budget, and in alignment with quality expectations. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily jobsite operations including subcontractor coordination, site logistics, and project workflow. Enforce safety procedures and manage site safety programs, inspections, and compliance documentation. Lead subcontractor safety meetings and verify all required training, certifications, and site specific plans prior to mobilization. Execute and maintain the overall project schedule while developing short term look ahead schedules to track progress. Manage jobsite meetings with subcontractors and coordinate communication between field teams, project managers, and stakeholders. Monitor quality control standards and ensure subcontractor work meets contract documents and company QA/QC expectations. Support project documentation including field reports, RFIs, meeting minutes, and project updates. Coordinate project logistics such as deliveries, traffic management, and site organization to maintain safe and efficient operations. Qualifications and Must Haves Minimum of 5 years of commercial construction experience in a Superintendent role for a General Contractor within Massachusetts. At least 3 years of experience using Procore and Bluebeam for project coordination and documentation. Strong ability to lead subcontractors, coordinate project teams, and maintain project schedules. Knowledge of construction safety practices and ability to enforce site compliance programs. Massachusetts Construction Supervisors License (CSL) required or ability to obtain and maintain. OSHA 30 certification along with First Aid and CPR credentials preferred. Experience leading jobsite meetings, managing field staff, and coordinating with architects, engineers, and inspectors. Strong communication, organizational, and decision-making skills.
Pay Details:
