Employee-owned company with strong long-term growth Break into Life Science projects with direct mentorship About Our Client Our client is a well-established construction firm specializing in Design-Build, Design-Assist, and General Contracting services throughout Massachusetts. Job Description As Superintendent, you will be responsible for the successful field execution of construction projects throughout the 495 corridor and Greater Boston area. You'll oversee site operations, subcontractors, safety, scheduling, quality control, and client coordination while serving as the on-site leader for project delivery. Key Responsibilities Manage all day-to-day field operations from mobilization through project closeout Lead and enforce project safety programs while maintaining regulatory compliance Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel Develop and maintain project schedules while driving milestone achievement Conduct site meetings and maintain communication with project managers, clients, and design teams Ensure quality standards are met through inspections and proactive issue resolution Utilize Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office to manage project documentation and reporting Identify project risks, coordinate solutions, and maintain efficient project execution MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. The Successful Applicant A successful Superintendent should have: 8+ years of Superintendent experience within commercial construction Experience with new construction, fit-outs, renovations, tenant improvements, or corporate interiors Exposure to Life Science, Healthcare, Infrastructure, or similar technically demanding projects preferred Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office Experience working within General Contracting, Design-Build, or Design-Assist environments Strong leadership, scheduling, communication, and subcontractor management skills Ability to oversee projects across Greater Boston and the 495 corridor OSHA knowledge and a demonstrated commitment to jobsite safety What's on Offer Base salary of $120,000 - $140,000 Vehicle allowance and transportation support Employee ownership opportunity through ESOP participation 100% employer-paid healthcare and dental coverage Annual performance-based bonus potential Paid holidays and competitive PTO program Company-issued smartphone and technology tools Exposure to a diverse project portfolio across Life Sciences, Healthcare, Infrastructure, and Corporate Interiors Direct mentorship from experienced construction leaders Long-term career growth within a high-retention, team-oriented organization
