A Construction Project Manager supervises construction projects from beginning to end, ensuring that projects are completed within time and budgetary constraints. Controls the time, cost and quality of construction projects, from residential, commercial and industrial buildings to roads, bridges and schools. Plans and coordinate all aspects of the construction process, including hiring contractors and working with engineers, architects and vendors.
Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Construction Project Manager to lead and work along side contractors to complete complex commercial construction projects from inception to completion. In this role, you will coordinate all phases of construction, manage project teams, ensure regulatory compliance, and deliver projects on time and within budget. Your expertise will drive project success while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. Duties Being willing to put on the tool belt and work with our contractors when needed to complete a task. Lead the planning, scheduling, and execution of construction projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and clients to ensure seamless communication and project alignment. Monitor construction site activities daily to ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and environmental standards. Manage project budgets by tracking costs meticulously and implement strategies to control expenses. Oversee project schedules by utilizing construction scheduling techniques; adjust plans proactively to mitigate delays or issues. Review construction plans specifications thoroughly; interpret technical drawings including Civil 3D models. Ensure regulatory compliance by maintaining accurate documentation and securing necessary permits throughout the project lifecycle. Manage teams effectively by assigning tasks clearly, providing leadership in construction management practices, and fostering a collaborative work environment. Skills Proven ability to manage/work on homes from start to finish. Extensive experiences and knowledge with carpentry associated with building homes start to finish Strong knowledge of construction estimating, scheduling, cost management, and regulatory compliance standards. Demonstrated expertise in managing teams in a construction management role with excellent leadership skills. Skilled in project scheduling and construction coordination. Deep understanding of construction plans, blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications. Exceptional time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively under tight deadlines. Knowledge of construction safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment on-site. Effective communicator capable of maintaining clear documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
