Job Description

Job Description Brightview Senior Living is seeking a Project Director to lead the planning and delivery of development and renovation projects across our senior living communities. In this role, you will own projects from concept through opening, managing budgets, schedules, vendors, and risks to ensure on-time, on-budget completion. You'll collaborate closely with operations and clinical leaders to align every project with our resident-first standards, regulatory requirements, and hospitality-focused design. This position offers the opportunity to directly shape safe, engaging environments where seniors thrive, while working in a supportive, growth-oriented culture. Responsibilities Lead planning and execution of senior living development and renovation projects from concept through opening Coordinate architects, contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met Manage project budgets, forecasts, and schedules; report on progress and variances to leadership Ensure all projects comply with healthcare, building, safety, and senior-living regulations Partner with operations and clinical leaders to align projects with resident-first standards Identify and mitigate project risks; drive issue resolution and continuous improvement Oversee vendor selection, contracts, and performance management Champion Brightview culture by fostering collaboration, communication, and accountability Engage regularly with community teams to minimize disruption to residents during projects Prepare and present project updates and recommendations to executive leadership Required Skills Project management Budgeting and cost control Construction management Scheduling and resource planning Vendor and contract management Risk management Regulatory and compliance knowledge (healthcare/senior living) Data and financial analysis Stakeholder and executive communication Process improvement
