Duties:
Develops and maintains program schedules identifying relationships, logic, milestones, and constraints for construction projects of various types. Able to read and interpret detailed construction drawings to develop a clear scope of work. Able to read and interpret detailed construction drawings to develop a baseline schedule with appropriate sequencing. Reviews and creates critical path, cost loading, resource loading of man-hours, schedule content, recovery schedules, use of logic relationships and lags, constraints and milestones Performs schedule Time Impact Analysis for any change orders that affect the construction schedule; conducts schedule negotiations. Reads drawings to determine if work is in or out of scope, and understands terms and conditions of the contract to determine if any compensable or non-compensable. Walks the construction sites as needed Ensures proper use of Program-level standard codes, layouts and reports necessary to ensure data integrity. Prepare reports as needed.
Experience:
We are seeking an experienced Critical Path Method (CPM) Scheduler to provide scheduling, delay analysis, and claims support for large, complex capital construction projects. This role focuses on independent CPM schedule review, analysis, and reporting, with opportunities to support dispute resolution and expert services on public sector projects.
Required Experience and Education:
Minimum 2 years full time paid professional experience in Construction Scheduling for an Owner or General Contractor. Proficiency in Primavera P6. Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management.
