Job Description
Job Description CoolSys is seeking a Project Manager to lead HVAC-R construction projects from planning through closeout. In this role, you will manage schedules, budgets, and subcontractors to deliver high-quality mechanical and refrigeration systems for retail, commercial, and industrial clients. You will coordinate field teams, oversee safety and code compliance, and ensure accurate documentation. Working in a collaborative, safety-first culture, you'll leverage technical knowledge, construction experience, and strong communication skills to drive efficient, reliable, and energy-focused project delivery. Responsibilities Plan and manage HVAC-R construction projects from kickoff to closeout Develop and track project schedules, budgets, and resource plans Coordinate contractors, technicians, and vendors on active job sites Ensure all work meets safety, quality, and code compliance standards Communicate project status, risks, and changes to clients and internal stakeholders Review drawings, scopes, and change orders for accuracy and feasibility Manage procurement and delivery of equipment and materials Lead job-site meetings and resolve field issues promptly Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting Support continuous improvement of construction and installation processes Required Skills Construction project management HVAC-R systems knowledge Budgeting and cost control Project scheduling (e.g., MS Project) Contract and change order management Blueprints and technical drawing review Vendor and subcontractor management Building codes and safety compliance Risk management and problem-solving Client and stakeholder communication
