Construction Superintendent Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Construction Superintendent to join our dynamic team within the Baltimore market. The role involves managing projects up to $3 million, with a focus on interior projects such as SCIF rooms, secure spaces, office space, retail, and hospitality. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a small general contractor that has been experiencing significant growth. Responsibilities Oversee subcontractors to ensure project quality and timelines are met. Manage project schedules and budgets effectively. Order necessary materials and coordinate permits and inspections. Ensure safety protocols are strictly followed on project sites. Facilitate communication between owners and project teams. Essential Skills 3+ years of experience as a commercial construction superintendent. Proficiency in reading blueprints. Experience in managing secure spaces and SCIF rooms. Strong skills in schedule coordination and creation. Effective subcontractor management. Additional Skills & Qualifications Ability to coordinate meetings efficiently. Experience in material ordering. Capability to create detailed schedules. Work Environment Small project team with a family feel environment. Will be partnered with a Sr Superintendent to learn project management approaches. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Baltimore, MD. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
