Commercial Construction Project Manager

Commercial Construction Project Manager A client we are representing is seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Project Manager to join their team. This is an opportunity for a seasoned construction professional who is comfortable taking ownership of projects, working directly with owners and project stakeholders, and managing the details necessary to successfully deliver commercial construction projects. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of commercial construction project management experience and is confident managing schedules, contracts, subcontractors, budgets, and client relationships. This position offers a high degree of autonomy and is best suited for someone who can take initiative, solve problems independently, and keep projects moving without constant oversight. What You'll Do

  • Manage commercial construction projects from pre-construction through completion and closeout.
  • Act as a key point of contact for owners, clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and other project stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules and proactively address delays or scheduling conflicts.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, materials, and other resources to keep projects on schedule.
  • Manage contracts, subcontracts, change orders, purchase orders, and other project documentation.
  • Monitor project budgets, costs, commitments, and overall financial performance.
  • Review construction drawings, plans, specifications, scopes of work, and contracts.
  • Lead project meetings and maintain clear communication with owners and project teams.
  • Identify potential problems early and develop practical solutions to minimize their impact on cost, schedule, and quality.
  • Track project progress and provide updates to ownership, clients, and company leadership.
  • Coordinate procurement and material deliveries as needed.
  • Help ensure work is completed in accordance with contract requirements, plans, specifications, schedules, and quality expectations.
  • Manage punch lists, project documentation, warranties, and other closeout requirements.
  • Maintain organized and accurate project records throughout the project lifecycle. What We're Looking For
  • 5+ years of commercial construction project management experience.
  • Strong understanding of commercial construction processes and project delivery.
  • Experience with project scheduling, contract management, change orders, and subcontractor coordination.
  • Experience working directly with owners and/or clients.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Comfortable working independently and making decisions without constant direction.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and follow-through.
  • Proficiency with construction/project management software and Microsoft Office.

  • $90,000-$130,000 annual salary, possibly higher based on experience and qualifications
