Job Description The Superintendent - Commercial Interiors - MD will: Support the successful execution of construction projects by managing daily field operations and site activities. Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and material deliveries to maintain project schedules and productivity. Monitor workmanship and quality standards to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and industry requirements. Promote a strong safety culture by enforcing site safety procedures and participating in audits and safety meetings. Maintain accurate daily reports, labor tracking, and project documentation. Assist with project closeout activities, punch list completion, and turnover processes. Coordinate inspections and ensure timely resolution of identified deficiencies. Communicate project progress, challenges, and schedule updates with project leadership and stakeholders. Help develop and mentor field personnel while fostering a collaborative jobsite environment. Take ownership of smaller projects as experience and responsibilities grow. The Successful Applicant The Superintendent - Commercial Interiors - MD will have: 5+ years of superintendent, assistant superintendent, or field leadership experience within commercial construction. Experience coordinating subcontractors and managing daily site operations. Strong understanding of commercial construction methods, safety standards, and quality control procedures. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project schedules. Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to work collaboratively across project teams. Experience with commercial interior projects is highly preferred.
