General Superintendent - HVAC

General Superintendent - HVAC Highland Consulting Group is a leading nationwide recruiting firm specializing in placing exceptional construction professionals within commercial, institutional, and industrial sectors. We're collaborating with a prominent Mechanical Contractor firm to seek an adept General Superintendent for the the Washington DC Metro area. This role requires a minimum of 5 years' experience managing medium to large-scale, projects such as Commercial and Multi-Family projects and experience managing 4-5 Foreman. This is a full-time position primarily involving local projects with minimal travel.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the Safety Manager to ensure a secure work environment Coordinate day-to-day construction tasks efficiently Schedule and manage crews and subcontractors Facilitate timely procurement of materials and equipment Liaise with foremen to align on daily production plans Oversee and maintain quality control standards Provide comprehensive daily work reports and progress photos Offer technical expertise and guidance to resolve production issues, ensuring corrective actions are executed Ensure project adherence to schedule, specifications, safety standards, and meet Project Manager expectations Act as the primary interface with project owners

Requirements:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proficiency in motivating teams for daily productivity and efficiency Strong multitasking abilities Self-motivated problem solver Proven track record of career stability and successful superintendent roles Minimum 5 years' Superintendent experience on projects exceeding $2 Million Preferably experienced in large Multi Family, Commercial, Large Estate residence projects Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience will be considered
