Construction Safety Director
Construction Safety Director - Build the Future. Lead the Standard.

Hanover, Maryland Pay Range:

As our Construction Safety Director, you will play a critical leadership role in shaping the safety culture of a rapidly growing construction organization. This is an opportunity to make a lasting impact by protecting our people, influencing company strategy, and helping deliver exceptional projects safely and successfully. What You'll Do- Lead and continuously improve the company's corporate safety program across multiple construction projects.
- Develop, implement, and enforce safety policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Conduct site audits, inspections, and risk assessments to ensure compliance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Partner with project executives, superintendents, and field teams to promote a proactive safety culture.
- Analyze incident trends and develop corrective action plans to prevent future occurrences.
- Lead investigations of incidents, near misses, and safety concerns.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and all applicable federal, state, and local safety requirements.
- Deliver engaging safety training and educational programs for employees and subcontractors.
- Mentor and develop the safety culture throughout the organization.
- Represent the company during regulatory inspections, client meetings, and safety audits. What We're Looking For
- 10+ years of construction safety experience, with leadership responsibilities in commercial, industrial, infrastructure, or heavy construction environments.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, construction safety standards, and risk management practices.
- Proven ability to build relationships and influence teams at all levels of an organization.
- Experience managing multiple projects and safety professionals simultaneously.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills; bilingual in English and Spanish a plus!
- Professional certifications such as CSP, CHST, ASP, or equivalent and
OSHA 500
certification are highly preferred; Advanced Safety Certificate required.- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Construction Management, Environmental Health & Safety, or a related field preferred. Why You'll Love This Opportunity
