Job Description The Superintendent will:
Manage daily field operations and supervise subcontractor activities. Enforce infection control, safety, and compliance requirements within occupied healthcare facilities. Coordinate closely with hospital staff and facility representatives to minimize operational disruptions. Review construction drawings, specifications, and project requirements to ensure quality execution. Monitor project schedules, progress, and workmanship to keep projects on track. Lead daily site meetings and maintain accurate project documentation and field reports. Resolve field issues proactively and communicate solutions to project stakeholders. Oversee quality control and ensure adherence to project standards and client expectations. Support punch list completion, closeout activities, and project turnover documentation. Maintain a professional jobsite environment while managing work in sensitive, occupied facilities. The Successful Applicant A successful Superintendent should have: Experience managing commercial interior construction projects as a Superintendent. Ability to lead projects within occupied healthcare or other highly sensitive environments. Strong knowledge of site safety, subcontractor management, and schedule coordination. Experience reviewing construction drawings and specifications. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to work throughout the DC Metro and Baltimore region.
