Full Job Description Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Grading or Utility Foreman to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will oversee and coordinate construction projects, ensuring that they are completed within budget and on time. We have a strong backlog of work, well maintained equipment, and a team of support to help you get the job done right.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage field crews on grading and/or utility projects. Read and interpret blueprints to plan construction operations (including grades, elevations, and pipe runs). Manage & coordinate construction sites, including supervising personnel and subcontractors. Keep jobs on schedule and within scope of work. Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations. Maintain a safe, organized and productive jobsite. Collaborate with superintendents and project managers to address any issues that arise during construction.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a foreman in sitework, grading or utilities. Proficiency in blueprint reading. Requires strong ability to read and interpret plans. Strong knowledge of project scheduling and quality control processes. Ability to manage a construction site effectively and efficiently. Have 3 years' experience operating heavy equipment Have experience setting grades. Have a valid drivers license.
