This is an hourly position paying $26-$34/hr. All drive time is paid and overtime is time-and-a-half. Our foremen average 50+ hours per week, for typical annual earnings of $70,000-$100,000.

No asbestos license is required:

we provide and pay for supervisor certification in-house. We're hiring an experienced, safety-focused Foreman to lead our field crews. You'll run asbestos and other hazardous materials abatement projects on residential and commercial job sites from setup through final clearance. You'll direct the crew, keep the job on schedule, and make sure the work is done safely and in compliance. Crew leadership experience in abatement, demolition, remediation, or construction is required. Key Responsibilities Lead and direct a field crew of 2-6 techs on daily job sites Drive the company vehicle and crew to and from job sites Oversee containment setup, negative air, removal, and decontamination Make sure all work follows OSHA, Maine DEP, and company safety procedures Complete daily job documentation: logs, crew time, air monitoring records, waste manifests, and photos Conduct pre-job walkthroughs and daily safety briefings Manage materials, equipment, and waste loading and disposal for each job Communicate professionally with customers, property owners, and inspectors on site Train and coach entry-level techs on proper work practices and PPE use progress, issues, and change conditions to management Work hands-on alongside the crew Qualifications Must be 18 years or older 2+ years of experience in asbestos abatement, demolition, remediation, or a related construction trade 5+ year leading a crew or job site Maine DEP Asbestos Abatement Supervisor certification a plus, not required (paid training provided) Working knowledge of OSHA safety requirements (OSHA 10 or 30 a plus) Ability to perform physical labor in protective gear, including respirators Comfortable working in tight spaces or dusty environments Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record Must have reliable transportation to Turner, ME Able to read scopes of work and complete accurate paperwork Dependable, organized, and able to hold a crew accountable Must be able to relocate prior to the start date if not local Schedule Full-time, Monday-Friday Typically 10-hour days including paid travel to job sites Overtime paid at time-and-a-half Weekend work available for those who want it Pay and Benefits $26.00 - $34.00 per hour. Starting rate is based on experience. Top rates are for certified supervisors with a proven record running abatement crews.
