Construction Superintendent

Job Overview DJW Homes is the fastest growing construction company in Southeast Michigan. We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee and manage dozens of construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, with expertise in project scheduling, budgeting, and quality control. This role requires effective leadership skills to supervise teams on-site and ensure that projects are completed rapidly and within scope. Duties Supervise daily operations on the construction site, ensuring adherence to project schedules and budgets. Manage subcontractors and coordinate with various stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution. Utilize construction management software such as ProCore and Primavera P6 for project tracking and reporting. Review blueprints, schematics, and contracts to ensure accurate implementation of project specifications. Implement quality control measures to maintain high standards of workmanship throughout the construction process. Prepare and manage project estimates and monitor financial performance against budgets. Facilitate communication between team members, clients, and other stakeholders to address any issues or changes that arise during the project lifecycle. Provide training and guidance to team members on best practices for construction site management. Qualifications 5+ years of experience as a Construction Superintendent or similar role within the construction industry. Degree in construction management preferred. Familiarity with construction management software. Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately for effective project execution. Demonstrated experience in supervising teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously. Effective communication skills for collaboration with diverse teams and stakeholders.
