Scope :
Site- Adrian Responsibilities :
Responsibility 1: Oversee daily shipping and receiving operations Supervise the shipping and receiving personnel Manage Shipping operations to ensure customer delivery ratings are met including service deliveries Responsible for maintaining customer systems, and trained as back up for Master Scheduler Schedules cycle counts for counters to perform Ensures compliance score is met Responsibility 2: Manage Service operations to achieve Service delivery requirements Maintain the 5-S system in the warehouse and shipping office Implement/maintain Insystems board for Shipping and Receiving Responsibility 3: Authority and responsibility to stop production when a quality or safety issue arises Work requires walking, talking, seeing, hearing, sitting, climbing, bending, stooping, grasping, crouching, pushing, balancing, reaching, kneeling, and standing Must be able to lift up to 33lbs on a regular basis Work requires working under high and low temperatures at certain times
Ideal Candidate Profile :
Personal Background Associates degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience 3 to 7 years of experience in automotive manufacturing preferred Advanced knowledge and experience implementing Lean Systems in a manufacturing environment Job Technical skills Must have intermediate to advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); especially Excel Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of SAP system Job Soft skills Verbal and Written Communication skills Teamwork Problem Solving and critical thinking Time Management Adaptability Organizational skills At OPmobility, people truly matter.
