Construction Administrator
LOCATION
Birmingham, MI No Remote TYPE Direct Hire ID MI133-2753276 POSTED Mar 16, 2026 Administration
  • Assistant (Director of Construction and Construction team) 1. Monthly Management Reports (all properties) 2. Assist with all operations issues as needed
  • As needed, assist (Operations Manager, at all properties) General Management/Operations/Reporting
  • Roof leak reports (all properties)
  • Construction Status report (all properties)
  • Electric Demand Meter Log (VORH)
  • Site amenities Purchase Orders
  • Maintain all tenant, contractor and vendor Certificates of Insurance (property & liability, all properties). Work directly with insurance agents, if needed, to make sure proper certificates are received.
  • Submit customer incident liability and building damage reports and photos to our insurance rep and work with insurance carrier if they need additional information.
  • Distribute weekly reports received from Operations Managers.
  • Update the Client Extranet section of the corporate website as needed
  • VORH daily traffic count
  • Distribute weekly Security Reports (VORH)
  • Answer Company phone lines
  • Kitchen cleanup
  • Manage KIP blueprint machine Tenant Coordination/Construction
  • Water meter authorization letters to the City of Rochester Hills
  • Gas meter requests - Consumers Energy
  • Address assignment requests to City/Township for new tenant spaces
  • Building Permit Applications
  • Scan as-builts and save on server
  • Maintain construction room plans (tubes, hanging, flat)
  • Send bid packages to contractors
  • Abbreviated Form of Agreement (Contract)
  • Collection of contractor check-in (preconstruction) docs
  • Collection of Tenant Construction Closeout docs (work with Tenant & Contractors to obtain)
  • Tenant Allowance and Contractor Security Deposit reimbursements
  • Coordinate with Architect and distribute Field Reports.
  • Send Landlord's punchlists and updates as needed
  • Update Tenant Contractor Procedures Handbook as needed
  • Update Merchant Handbook as needed
  • Complete all tenant closeout documents for construction
  • Record Notice of Furnishings received per project
  • Send recorded Notice of Commencements out per request
  • Liaison between tenants, contractors, architects, governments, etc.
  • Revisions to site/lease plans as requested using BlueRevu software or coordinate with Architect.
  • Review construction sections of LOIs and Leases.
