Brighton, MI Salary:
$110,000 - $120,000 We are working with a well-established design-build general contractor based in Brighton, Michigan to find a Superintendent to lead field operations on their commercial construction projects. This company has been building since 1997 with a culture built around planning, accountability, and doing things the right way. They operate across healthcare, retail, office, auto dealership, mixed-use, and industrial sectors and are licensed to build in 35 states.

This role is responsible for the day-to-day coordination and supervision of field construction activities, working closely with the Senior Superintendent and Project Manager to keep projects on schedule and on budget. What You'll Do Coordinate, supervise, and monitor all field construction activities Collaborate with project team members, including engineers, architects, third-party consultants, and subcontractors Identify and propose or implement solutions to project issues in coordination with the Senior Superintendent and Project Manager Review and maintain a working understanding of project plans and specifications, ensuring current documents are in use on-site Schedule day-to-day field activities to meet overall project scheduling objectives Maintain the construction schedule and continuously update the 3-Week Look-Ahead Schedule Direct subcontractors to meet schedule, quality, and safety expectations Assist Project Managers in the final selection of subcontractors and suppliers Coordinate inspections with municipal officials and third-party agencies Support jobsite safety through consistent expectations and enforcement Document daily progress, issues, and as-built conditions using Microsoft Teams Attend company and industry events, including meetings, trainings, and workshops Promote and contribute to maintaining company culture What You'll Bring 3 or more years of successful Superintendent experience with a reputable commercial contractor Experience in scheduling, field supervision, quality control, and production across all phases of commercial construction Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously Proficiency in MS Project for scheduling Comfort using Microsoft Teams as a primary platform for field documentation, daily reports, and coordination OSHA 30 certification required Valid driver's license College degree in construction management or a related field preferred but not required What You'll Gain A competitive salary of $110,000 to $120,000, based on experience Vehicle allowance and company-issued cell phone and laptop or tablet Company-sponsored health insurance and company-matched 401(k) Flexible vacation, sick, and time-off policy along with performance-based bonus opportunities At Framework, we keep it simple: we connect great people with great builders.
