Construction Superintendent Foose Construction LLC West Michigan Full-Time Foose Construction LLC is looking for an experienced, hardworking Construction Superintendent to join our team. This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who knows residential and light commercial construction, can lead employees and subcontractors, and is willing to work alongside the crew when needed. This is not a position where you simply oversee the job from a truck. We are looking for someone who can manage a project while also putting on a tool belt and helping get the work done. Responsibilities Manage day-to-day operations on active construction sites Lead, organize, and work alongside Foose Construction employees Coordinate and manage subcontractors and their schedules Communicate professionally with homeowners, business owners, subcontractors, suppliers, and other project partners Review project plans, scopes of work, and daily priorities Keep projects moving efficiently and maintain quality standards Coordinate material deliveries and make material runs when necessary Perform hands-on construction work, including: Wood framing Interior and exterior trim Finish carpentry Doors and windows Insulation Drywall hanging Demolition General remodeling and construction Punch-list and repair work Identify job-site problems and help develop practical solutions Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites Properly maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment Provide project updates and communicate scheduling or material needs to ownership Qualifications We are looking for someone with real construction experience who can both lead and work.

Required:

Previous residential and/or commercial construction experience Strong framing and carpentry knowledge Trim and finish carpentry experience General remodeling and construction knowledge Ability to read measurements, use construction tools, and understand basic plans and scopes Experience working with and coordinating subcontractors Ability to lead employees and maintain productivity on site Strong communication and customer-service skills Valid driver's license and good driving record Dependable transportation to the designated meeting location Physically capable of performing construction work, lifting and carrying materials, climbing ladders, and working on active job sites Reliable, punctual, hardworking, and self-motivated Company-Provided Equipment This position includes: Company truck Company-provided power tools Access to construction trailers, equipment, and job-site tools Opportunity to take responsibility for increasingly larger projects as experience and performance are demonstrated What We're Looking For The right person will be someone who can walk onto a job site, understand what needs to happen, organize the people and materials necessary to make it happen, and then work alongside the crew to get the job completed .
