Job Description

Michigan Mechanical Ventures is a fast-growing contractor in Southeast Michigan looking to add an experienced and driven HVAC Project Manager to our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing commercial HVAC projects from conception to completion. This is a critical role responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning & Execution:
Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
Client & Stakeholder Communication:
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors. Provide regular updates and address any concerns.
Financial Management:
Oversee project budgets, track expenses, and manage billing to ensure profitability.
Team Leadership:
Lead and mentor project teams, including field technicians and other staff.
Subcontractor & Supplier Coordination:
Source, negotiate with, and manage subcontractors and material suppliers.
Quality & Safety Assurance:
Enforce strict quality control standards and maintain a safe work environment in compliance with all regulations.
Problem-Solving:
Proactively identify potential issues and implement effective solutions to keep projects on track.
Requirements :
Minimum of [5] years of experience in HVAC project management, with a strong focus on commercial projects. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Deep understanding of HVAC systems, blueprints, and construction processes. Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills. Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Relevant industry certifications are a plus.
