Job Description

The Role:
An HVAC Project Manager and Estimator combines cost-estimating and project-management duties to oversee residential and light commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning jobs from the initial bid through final construction closeout.
Responsibilities:
Estimating and Bidding Read blueprints and technical drawings to understand project requirements. Calculate costs for materials, labor, equipment, and sub-contractors. Prepare bid proposals and set competitive pricing that meets company profit goals. Solicit pricing from parts vendors and equipment suppliers. Software utilization to properly sizing equipment and duct work for each application. Project Management Oversee project schedules to ensure work finishes on time. Monitor project budgets and control costs during construction. Manage sub-contractors and coordinate daily field operations. Process change orders and handle requests for information (RFIs). Client and Safety Relations Communicate with clients to present estimates and resolve issues. Enforce safety rules on all active job sites. Complete project closeout by securing final sign-offs, warranties, and closeout documents. Other duties as may be assigned.
