Job Description

Position Summary Responsible for the overall planning, execution, financial performance, safety, quality and successful completion of assigned construction projects. This position requires leadership from project award through closeout while maintaining positive relationships with clients, engineers, subcontractors, vendors and other stakeholders. The Construction Project Manager reflects the organization's core values through problem solving, customer focus, teamwork, a can-do attitude, and doing the right thing. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Lead projects from preconstruction through final completion and closeout.
  • Develop project plans and submittals, RFIs, change orders and subcontracts to ensure work is performed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with contract requirements.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, vendors and field crews to maintain schedule, quality and safety requirements.
  • Monitor production, labor, equipment utilization, material costs and project profitability.
  • Lead project meetings and maintain effective communication between owners, engineers and other project stakeholders.
  • Support and comply with all components of the health and safety program on assigned projects.
  • Verify that work conforms to contract documents, specifications and quality standards.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering or related field preferred.
  • 5-10+ years of construction project management experience in environmental, civil, or related field preferred.
  • Strong understanding of construction means and methods.
  • Demonstrated experience managing project budgets and financial performance.
  • Ability to read and interpret contracts, construction drawings, specifications and schedules.
  • Proficient with Excel, Microsoft Project, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to travel to project sites as required. Physical Requirements
  • Ability to work outdoors on active construction sites in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. with assistance as needed.
  • Must have vision and hearing sufficient to safely perform the essential functions of the position.
  • Ability to complete required hazardous waste operations physicals, as applicable.
  • Must comply with the Company's drug and alcohol policy. Accountability

Pay:
$130,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
