Daytime Area Manager - Commercial Cleaning Clean Team | Kentwood, MI Full-Time | Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-4:00 PM Occasional weekends as needed About the Job Clean Team is looking for a Daytime Area Manager to oversee commercial cleaning accounts in Kentwood and the Greater Grand Rapids area. This is a hands-on management role. You will lead cleaning teams, visit customer sites, check work quality, and help solve daily issues. The right person is organized, dependable, and comfortable working with both employees and customers. What You'll Do Lead, train, and support commercial cleaning employees. Visit customer sites and inspect cleaning work. Make sure each account meets company and customer standards. Build good relationships with customers. Respond to customer questions and service needs. Create employee schedules and manage staffing needs. Train new team members. Track cleaning supplies and equipment. Solve employee, customer, and service issues. Follow company safety rules and proper chemical handling. Travel between customer sites in the West Michigan area. Help with special projects or staffing needs on some weekends. What We're Looking For Experience in management, supervision, or team leadership. Commercial cleaning, janitorial, facilities, hospitality, retail, or logistics experience is a plus. Strong communication and people skills. Good organization and time-management skills. Ability to solve problems and work without close supervision. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Good driving record. Comfortable working in a hands-on role. Available for occasional weekend work.
