Opportunity Summary:
The Assistant Program Manager (APM) works closely with the AFC Program Manager and Administrator to support the daily operations of assigned residential programs. This role provides leadership, guidance, and supervision to both staff and residents while helping ensure quality care and compliance with organizational and licensing standards. The Assistant Program Manager assists with overseeing the treatment and care of adults with intellectual disabilities and/or mental illness in group home and supported living settings. This position may also provide after-hours support, participate in an on-call rotation, and assist during emergency situations as needed.

CPR and MANDT Training Essential Duties:
Assist with supervision, training, and support of direct care staff Promote a safe, therapeutic, and person-centered environment for residents Support program operations and ensure compliance with policies and regulations Model professional behavior and appropriate social interactions for residents and staff Respond effectively to emergencies and critical situations Collaborate with management, clinical staff, families, and community partners Provide after-hours and on-call support as required

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop kneel or crawl, and taste or smell. This position is for 2nd or 3rd shift. This position carries a 24-hour commitment to your assigned program or territory, and participation in a rotating on-call schedule is required.
