Work Arrangement This role is categorized as onsite. The Role Acts as the primary Fabrication representative within Branded Studios, partnering with Design, Engineering, Program, and studio leadership to translate creative intent into executable fabrication scope. Owns the end-to-end studio fabrication request process—including intake, requirements definition, feasibility and risk assessment, prioritization, scheduling, cost/effort alignment, and clear stakeholder communication—from initial concept through build completion and delivery. Ensures work is routed to the appropriate internal/external fabrication resources, progress is tracked against program timelines and quality expectations, and issues are proactively escalated and resolved to meet studio commitments while operational discipline What You'll Do Strategize with Design and DCF Leadership to develop property plans that support the fabrication of GVDP properties and Concept Vehicles aligned with resources Serve as the primary Fabrication representative embedded with the Branded Studios to ensure alignment on scope, timing, cost, and feasibility Own studio fabrication requests end-to-end: intake requirements, clarify deliverables, , track progress, and communicate status, risks, and trade-offs Communicate to the studio property timelines and all related model quality requirements to ensure customer expectations are met Handle an exceptionally high workload, while being very innovative and displaying outstanding initiative Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications) Degree or equivalent experience 5 Years of combined experience in project management and fabrication Knowledgeable of the GVDP math deliverable requirements and physical model content Experienced in the design, engineering and construction of vehicle property builds Knowledgeable of the GVDP math deliverable requirements and physical model content Capable of presenting and collaborating cross-functionally with every Design Studio, and Fabrication discipline Excellent technical breadth, organizational, administrative and leadership skills Strong leadership qualities, excellent administrative and technical abilities and exceptional ingenuity and problem-solving ability What Will Give You A Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications) Master's degree in business GM does not provide immigration-related sponsorship for this role.
