Job Description Oversee all daily jobsite operations and field activities Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and onsite personnel Develop and maintain project schedules Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies Conduct daily site inspections and safety meetings Coordinate project logistics, deliveries, and site sequencing Monitor project quality and ensure work conforms to plans and specifications Communicate progress, issues, and milestones with Project Managers and stakeholders Identify and resolve field challenges proactively Maintain accurate project documentation and daily reports Manage punch-list completion and project closeout activities MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. The Successful Applicant 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction Proven success managing field operations from project start through completion Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple subcontractors and trades Experience maintaining project schedules and driving production goals Thorough knowledge of construction methods, building systems, and site logistics Strong understanding of OSHA requirements and construction safety practices Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Proficiency with construction technology, scheduling, and reporting tools Experience with commercial, industrial, institutional, healthcare, education, or public-sector projects preferred What's on Offer Competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $140,000 annually Performance-based bonus opportunities Comprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits 401(k) with company contribution Paid time off and company holidays Vehicle allowance or company vehicle Professional development and career advancement opportunities Long-term project pipeline throughout the Twin Cities and the surrounding region Supportive and collaborative company culture Opportunity to work on complex and impactful construction projects
