Are you looking to take the next step in your career? WEB Construction, INC. is hiring a General Construction Project Manager to join its team in Mankato , MN . WEB Construction, INC. is a general contractor focused on commercial and industrial construction throughout southern Minnesota. WEB is a family-owned business with more than 50 years of history serving the region, with a team that is made up of close-knit dedicated professionals. As a General Construction Project Manager , you'll lead commercial construction projects from the early planning stages through final completion. You'll serve as a key point of contact throughout the project, working closely with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to keep everything moving forward. From managing budgets and timelines to solving problems and coordinating the many moving pieces, you'll play a hands-on role in delivering successful, high-quality projects.
Job Duties :
Lead commercial construction projects from estimating and preconstruction through completion and final closeout Prepare estimates, takeoffs, bids, budgets, material lists, and subcontractor and vendor proposals Manage project schedules, costs, contracts, change orders, and overall financial performance to keep projects on track Coordinate and communicate with clients, subcontractors, vendors, architects, engineers, inspectors, and internal project teams Review project plans, specifications, and other documents to identify requirements, potential challenges, and necessary next steps Manage RFIs, submittals, project records, and other key documentation Partner with superintendents and field teams to support safe, high-quality work and resolve issues throughout the project Coordinate project turnover and closeout activities to ensure all requirements are completed
Job Requirements :
1+ years of commercial construction experience required Experience managing construction projects preferred Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering or related field preferred Experience working for a commercial general contractor, design-build contractor, or comparable preferred Ready to explore what WEB has to offer? ! Pay:
$80,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year Application Question(s): Do you have experience managing projects from buyout through closeout? Do you have experience with subcontractor procurement and contract negotiation?
