2996441067-2 Apply for this job now Job Description William Charles Construction seeks a Construction Project Manager I or II to deliver heavy civil transportation, site, utility, and infrastructure projects. In this safety-focused, collaborative role, you'll plan and manage project scope, schedule, budget, and quality while leading field coordination with superintendents, subcontractors, and suppliers. Responsibilities include cost tracking, change orders, risk and safety management, and client communication. This position offers hands-on experience, professional growth, and the opportunity to build critical infrastructure across the Midwest. Responsibilities Plan and manage scope, schedule, and budget for heavy civil projects Coordinate daily activities with superintendents, crews, and subcontractors Monitor project costs, quantities, and change orders Maintain strict safety standards and support company safety programs Ensure quality control and compliance with plans, specs, and regulations Prepare and update project schedules and progress reports Communicate regularly with clients, inspectors, and stakeholders Support subcontractor and supplier procurement and management Identify and mitigate project risks and field issues Document project progress, quantities, and closeout requirements Required Skills Construction project management Heavy civil construction methods Reading plans and specifications Scheduling (e.g., CPM/MS Project/Primavera) Budgeting and cost control Subcontractor and vendor management Change order management Quality control and inspections Safety management (OSHA standards) Contract administration
