Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager (SPM) to lead complex industrial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.

This is an excellent opportunity for a construction leader with strong design-build, financial, scheduling, contract, and client management experience who is comfortable taking full ownership of projects valued at $10M+.The ideal candidate will have experience in manufacturing, cold storage, food & beverage, distribution, logistics, or other complex industrial environments.

Key ResponsibilitiesLead projects from preconstruction through final closeout, ensuring schedule, budget, quality, and safety objectives are achieved.

Manage design-build delivery, including constructability reviews, early planning, design coordination, and project execution.

Develop project execution plans, staffing strategies, site logistics, schedules, and resource plans.

Lead coordination between owners, design partners, subcontractors, vendors, and field teams.

Develop and manage master schedules; identify risks and implement corrective and recovery plans.

Review and manage owner contracts, subcontracts, vendor agreements, change orders, and scope issues.

Manage project budgets, forecasts, cost reporting, change management, and profitability.

Maintain strong relationships with clients and serve as the primary point of contact throughout project delivery.

Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with company and OSHA standards.

Utilize project management and financial systems to maintain accurate project reporting and documentation.

Mentor and develop Project Managers, Engineers, and field personnel.

Conduct project closeout and client reviews to strengthen relationships and generate repeat business.

Qualifications10-12+ years of progressive construction/project management experience.
Required:
Significant experience managing industrial construction projects.

Proven experience managing large, complex projects valued at $10M+.Experience with design-build delivery from conceptual planning through completion.

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.

Strong financial, contract, scheduling, risk management, and negotiation skills.

Experience with Primavera P6, MS Project, Procore, CMiC, or similar platforms.

Strong client-facing and executive communication skills.

Demonstrated ability to lead project teams and mentor developing project professionals.

Preferred Industry ExperienceExperience with manufacturing, cold storage, food & beverage, distribution, logistics, or other industrial facilities is highly valued.
