Primary Objective:
To use leadership, organizational, and administrative skills to promote the safe educational development of each student in the after-school program To provide leadership that will motivate staff and volunteers to strive for superior performance To model and facilitate good human relations skills by effectively interacting with others To support policies, regulations, and directives of the
School Board and Superintendent Essential Functions:
Manage parent communication for the after-school program Maintain communication with the building principal Manage communication with community partners Ensure central aspects of the Freedom Schools model (i.e. Harambee and Read Aloud) occur with fidelity Coordinate and provide supervision for the after-school program arrival and departure process Coordinate the after-school program materials for staff and volunteers Support volunteers with student needs (i.e. behavior management) Perform other duties as assigned
Education :
A Master's Degree in administration or current participation in an administrative program is preferred; a Master's Degree in education is required.
Experience:
Educational administrative experience preferred. Five (5) years of teaching experience is preferred. Teaching experience is required.
Certification :
Missouri administrator certification preferred. Missouri teacher certification is required.
