Project Superintendent Job Summary We're looking for a seasoned Construction Superintendent with extensive experience in the industry to join our team in Jackson, MS. In this full-time, on-site role, you'll be responsible for managing and overseeing construction projects, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and delivering projects on time and within budget. Strong leadership, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a proactive approach are essential for success in this role. Responsibilities Oversee and manage construction projects from start to finish, setting and monitoring goals and deadlines Collaborate with construction workers, architects, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and owners to assess project needs Proactively identify and resolve issues before they become a problem Supervise staff and provide constructive feedback Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards Manage project progress and budget and keep track of material stock, equipment, and orders Qualifications Hard worker with a high level of integrity Proactive and able to solve problems on the fly Humble and eager to learn Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead and manage teams Willingness to tackle challenges and problem-solve in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Requirements Construction Superintendent Experience Proven Track Record of Quality Projects Project Management Software Commercial Construction About Us Alliant Construction is a commercial construction company headquartered in Flowood, Mississippi, working with private owners, developers, governmental agencies, and other partners.
