Job Description
Job Summary Counterpoint, Inc., is a private, non-profit organization providing services to adults with developmental disabilities in Park County, Montana since 1976. We are seeking applicants for the Residential Coordinator position. The RC is directly responsible to the Executive Director and is a member of the Management Team. Responsibilities Overall responsibility for the staff and clients of both Group Homes and the Supported Living Program, including all Habilitation Services for those programs. Directly supervises the Group Home Managers and the Supported Living Manager. Responsible for recruiting, screening, interviewing, and hiring of Residential and Supported Living staff Responsible for the compliance of subordinate staff with policies, procedures and contractual obligations of all regulatory agencies including, but not limited to: DDP, Administrative Rules of Montana, and DPHHS Licensing. Training coordinator for residential and supported living staff certification requirements. The Residential Coordinator is expected to treat all staff, clients, and stakeholders with dignity and respect. Requirements Bachelor's degree in related field with 1 year of experience in the field of Developmental Disabilities OR two-year combination of education and experience as determined by the hiring team. Two years' experience in personnel management. Valid driver license and insurable by Counterpoint, Inc. auto insurance. Ability to safely operate a 13-passenger van, adaptive equipment, household cleaning, and yard maintenance equipment. Computer literacy. Experience with Excel spreadsheets. Ability to read and apply written instructions, to communicate effectively orally and in writing. To establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff and clients. Ability to physically assist clients. Respond calmly in emergency situations. Ability to work unsupervised, be self-initiating and self-motivating. Ability to flex schedule as needed to meet the needs of the homes and supported living program. Criminal background clearance. Knowledge of behavior management techniques.
Pay:
$27.38 - $30.00 per hourBenefits:
