Job Description
Dick Anderson Construction is seeking a motivated, experienced, and detail-oriented Full-Time Superintendent to oversee construction projects in Missoula, Montana. This position plays a key role in managing all aspects of the construction job site, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards. The Superintendent works closely with Project Managers, Owners, Subcontractors, Foremen, and crew members throughout the construction process.
Responsibilities Include:
Planning and coordinating construction job site requirements Ordering and managing required supplies and materials Tracking job site production on a daily and weekly basis Supervising, training, guiding, and directing Foremen and job site crews Maintaining positive relationships with Owners, Subcontractors, and project stakeholders Overseeing quality control and job site productivity Ensuring compliance with job site safety standards and OSHA regulations Organizing and maintaining project documentation, including reports, receipts, shipping tickets, and related paperwork Working directly with Foremen to monitor project progress and provide job site updates Assisting with carpentry work and other construction activities as needed Performing housekeeping duties and maintaining a clean, organized job site Assisting with demolition and site preparation activities as requiredQualifications:
Previous construction and supervisory/Foreman experience required Strong knowledge of quality control, cost control, and job site safety practices Understanding of building codes, stud layout, rough framing, and blueprint reading Proficiency in building construction, including concrete work, rough carpentry, finish carpentry, and other construction trades Knowledge of OSHA construction regulations and safety requirements Strong math, analytical, and problem-solving skills Ability to train, mentor, and develop team members Excellent communication and leadership skills Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environmentBenefits:
