Commercial Construction Position Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to support commercial construction projects from planning through completion. The ideal candidate will assist Project Managers with scheduling, budgeting, subcontractor coordination, documentation, and quality control while ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and according to client expectations. This role provides an excellent opportunity for a construction professional looking to grow within a collaborative project management environment while contributing to healthcare, educational, and institutional construction projects. Key ResponsibilitiesProject Coordination & Execution Support Project Managers in overseeing daily project operations, schedules, budgets, and quality objectives. Assist with tracking project progress, identifying potential delays, and supporting resolution of project issues. Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, vendors, and site personnel to maintain efficient workflow. Assist in maintaining project documentation, reports, meeting notes, and progress updates. Construction Management Support Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and project documents. Assist with project scheduling, cost tracking, and resource coordination. Participate in project meetings with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams. Support quality control processes to ensure project standards are maintained. Team Collaboration Build effective working relationships with project teams, subcontractors, consultants, and stakeholders. Communicate project updates, risks, and action items effectively. Support a positive and collaborative project environment. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred. Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial construction project coordination or management support. Experience with healthcare, K-12, higher education, or institutional construction projects preferred. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and schedules. Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Ability to coordinate multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Pay:
$75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per yearBenefits:
