Job Description

The Night Manager oversees contract compliance for our designated building maintenance accounts in the Burlington area and manages the working relationship between City Wide and our independent cleaning contractors. This is a full-time, evening/overnight shift position ideal for someone with strong people-management skills and a background in facilities or janitorial services.
Key responsibilities:
Build and maintain strong working relationships with independent contractors by communicating client priorities and collaborating on solutions. Review scope-of-work documents and conduct quality inspections to retain existing accounts and support new business growth. Send nightly recap reports and escalate urgent issues to the Facility Services Manager. Handle customer complaints, new account start-ups, and special client requests. Enforce company policies on cleaning standards, tools, and equipment use. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent; additional experience in commercial janitorial or facilities services is a plus. Prior supervisory experience, including coaching, motivating, and leading a team across multiple sites. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Comfortable with regular local travel between client sites; valid driver's license and reliable vehicle recommended. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and remain on your feet for extended periods during site visits.
