What You'll Do (The Role) As our Commercial Construction Supervisor, you will be the captain of the job site. You'll be running tight, efficient commercial projects by managing subcontractors to complete per plans.Your daily responsibilities will include:
Site Management:
Oversee and coordinate 1-5 subcontractors on-site, ensuring safety, quality control, and schedule compliance.Blueprint & Code Mastery:
Read, interpret, and execute architectural blueprints flawlessly while keeping projects fully compliant with local building codes.Scheduling:
Proactively schedule subs as needed to eliminate downtime and keep the project moving forward.Tech-Savvy Logging:
Maintain accurate daily construction logs, photos, and updates using our mobile project management app.Clear Communication:
Seamlessly bridge the gap between the field and the office via prompt emails and phone calls. What We're Looking For (Job Requirements) We need someone who is organized, collaborative, and ready to take ownership of their site.Experience:
2 years of experience as a Construction Supervisor/Foreman, plus at least 1 year of commercial construction experience.Skills:
Strong blueprint reading skills and familiarity with commercial building codes are non-negotiable.Mobility:
Must have a valid driver's license and your own reliable transportation to get to and from local Charlotte job sites. Travel Flex (A Big Plus): While the bulk of our work is around Charlotte, a willingness to manage projects out of town (within the Carolinas) is a huge plus and opens the door for higher bonus potential!
