We have a heavy presence in the retail, restaurant, and healthcare project fields. We do also do a number of education additions, and re-adaptation projects where we use an old structure to re-purpose it into a modern use. Our work typically stays within the Carolinas, and we focus on a lot of hubs including Charlotte, Spartanburg, Greeneville, Columbia, and more to keep guys local so they can be home every night. We are looking for an experienced Superintendent to run a few upcoming commercial projects in the Concord area. We have multiple projects laid out for this position already, and the first is ready to break ground in early summer. What you need 5+ years of construction experience 2+ years as superintendent Experience with a wide range of commercial projects (ground up and renovations) Retail, restaurants, education, healthcare, public works, etc. Comfortable negotiating with subcontractors, vendors, and speaking with clients OSHA 30 and CPR certified (preferred) What you will be doing Oversee Full Construction project from beginning to end Drive projects to completion on schedule and within budget targets Enforce and oversee adherence to the company's safety policies and procedures Plan, coordinate, and manage all required jobsite inspections Supervise and manage all phases of onsite construction operations Schedule, coordinate, and oversee subcontractor work activities Track and evaluate subcontractor progress, workmanship, and performance standards Manage project costs to maintain alignment with budgeted labor and material expenses Identify, evaluate, and recommend subcontractors, vendors, and service providers for engagement Maintain a safe, productive, and well-organized jobsite environment Assist in developing, maintaining, and revising project schedules Lead regular onsite coordination meetings with subcontractors Coordinate timely delivery of critical materials and equipment
