The ideal candidate will manage crews, coordinate subcontractors, maintain quality control, and communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and project managers. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and the ability to keep projects organized from start to finish. Responsibilities Supervise daily job site operations and construction activities Manage crews and subcontractors to ensure work is completed properly and on schedule Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site at all times Monitor workmanship and ensure quality standards are met Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications Coordinate deliveries, materials, and equipment needed for projects Conduct regular site inspections and address issues quickly Ensure compliance with building codes, OSHA regulations, and company safety standards Track project progress and provide updates to management Communicate with homeowners, clients, inspectors, and vendors professionally Identify and solve job site problems efficiently Assist with scheduling inspections and coordinating project timelines Verify completed work matches project scope and attention to detail requirements Help maintain project budgets by minimizing delays and material waste Skills Previous construction or job site supervision experience preferred Strong leadership and crew management abilities Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously Knowledge of residential and/or commercial construction practices Ability to read blueprints and construction drawings Strong communication and problem-solving skills Understanding of safety procedures and OSHA standards Dependable, self-motivated, and punctual Proficient with scheduling, coordination, and time management Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing conditions Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
